ROBOGRAD – the structure of the city of the future

The basis of the ROBOGRAD-600 project platform is the concept of a “green economy”, which has long been a world trend in development.
ROBOGRAD-600 includes the signs of the city, focused on the minimum impact on the environment with maximum human labor productivity.

The city structure of open opportunities ROBOGRAD
As a platform with an adaptive environment, ROBOGRAD-600 fully corresponds to the concept of “smart city” – environmental sensors, infrastructure control, video surveillance cameras and robotic process control systems: here is a small list of what includes the city’s future platform.

Assuming the free use of drones in the delivery of all kinds of goods and documents on the territory of the project, ROBOGRAD-600 can be considered an aeropolis city. Applying in practice in the airspace of the innovative city the numerous developments in the use of aerokopters, based on the regulations developed by enthusiasts and the Government of the Russian Federation, it is quite possible to create an environment for their most effective and safe use, thus determining the criteria for the possibility of such use already in existing, traditional cities.

The basis of the “green economy” is a careful attitude to natural resources, or, as they are called, according to the concept of “green economy” – natural assets.
On the territory of the network city of the future, even at the ideological stage, this approach to the technologies of housing and communal services is being laid, under which the consumption of water, The abstraction of water from the environment is reduced by 30% relative to the traditional approach to water consumption. In the process of detailed design, this parameter is supposed to bring this parameter up to a 50% reduction in water consumption from ground and underground sources of water supply. Simultaneously with the decrease in water consumption, a number of organizational and technical solutions in the innovative city allow assessing as being implemented, a solution aimed at reducing the burden of the infrastructure of the HPW by 70%. That is, by 70% reduce the volume of fecal water coming from residential areas, reduce the cross-section of sewage pipes by 70%, cut energy costs and areas of silt fields by 70%, and form deposits of organic residues from the sewerage system of the city, thereby, of course, 70% reduced the impact of the city on the environment as a result of the use of such resource-saving developments.

Alarmed environmentalists have repeatedly explained the world community in all available ways, that the growing area of landfills around and inside cities is a sign not only of the ecological indifference of people and business, but also a peculiar lack of understanding of the nature of things, true values and morality.
Realizing that the culture of waste management does not take root overnight, in the territory of the ROBOGRAD-600 project, nonetheless waste management systems are applied, leading to minimization or complete disappearance of such systems. That is, the disappearance of waste, as a type of negative result of human activities, but the transformation of those into usable substances and substrates-be it a fertile soil, a high-calorie fertilizer, a semi-finished product for the production of building materials and packaging or biofuel. In other words, there will be no dumps near the cities of the ROBOGRAD-600 project. They just become unnecessary. Such a phenomenon becomes possible on the basis of combining the concept of “smart city” and the system of initial sorting of garbage before its collection in the shops of utilization. The system of pneumatic catchers built into apartment houses does not give people the opportunity to think about the overcrowding of the trash can-it has no place in the interiors of the houses of ROBOGRAD. Garbage is dumped directly after its appearance in the appropriate tray: paper, plastic, organic, glass and metal. And .. all! The system of sensors will not allow the resident to make mistakes continuously with the placement of waste not in “his” category, the transportation system will ensure the timely emptying of the corresponding general garbage accumulator as it is full and the life cycle features, and the recycling system-transforms the waste into raw materials, semi-finished products, heat or road tiles .

Particular attention, as follows from the example of the missing trash can, is given to the interior and exterior of the buildings of the ROBOGRAD-600 project, the city’s architecture of global standards. The view of the city from a bird’s-eye view is directly indicative of the borrowing of the idea of a clockwork mechanism and is intended to give rise to the idea of the transience of time and its value. Abundant with curvatures and elevations, architectural solutions deprive the viewer of monotony and boredom, encouraging imagination and creativity. The lack of traditional dark corners inside the living quarters and niches give unconscious for the creation of all kinds of mini-warehouses, storages and blockages from clothes, toys and household goods. The authors of the project are convinced that the order in the minds can be inculcated not only by the pressure of the society, but also by the special organization of the environment
